Tyson plans to minimize antibiotics in its chickens.
The largest meat US meatpacker by sales says that by the the end of September 2017, it intends to largely eliminate
the use of human antibiotics for chicken production
(paywall), citing a growing increase in health concerns. Last month, McDonald’s, a major buyer of Tyson chicken, announced it would
stop serving its US customers antibiotic-fed chicken
within two years.
