To be nº1 is an incredible advantage but in banking a notorious bad business because the employees capture a big part of the economics this advantage does not exist according to Buffett. I think there is a small advantage for the big guy, it's the idea of too big to fail. Yes it's better to deposit in the big guy.

But I agree with buffet the best banks could be a small bank that is slow about doing new business.

everywhere else to be nº1 is incredible. , if you go to buy something why not buy what everybody is buying, if it was bad it would not be nº1. nº1 is low risk.
